=Memory is the section of the brain by which data or information is encoded, stored, and retrieved when needed. Overall there are 3 types of memory which SM, STM, and LTM.
I- SENSORY MEMORY ( SM )
=Countless incoming information from 5 senses will be stored in sensory-memory for an instant. If you pay attention to it, then it will be stored at short-term memory but if you don't it would be last long and you lost it.
II- SHORT-TERM MEMORY ( STM)
=Is were also known as "working memory" it only lasts for about 20sec. However, it can be moved from short-term memory to long-term memory via a process like a rehearsal. You have to repeat to get it in long-term memory.
